About Your Host

Dr. Steven E. Labkoff is a physician, informatician, and healthcare executive with more than two decades of experience driving innovation at the intersection of data, clinical research, and technology. He has held senior leadership roles at Pfizer, AstraZeneca, and Bristol Myers Squibb, where he advanced clinical operations, medical affairs, healthcare and research informatics, and the integration of AI and digital health into clinical trials. Steven is Co-Founder of the DCI Network, a nonprofit dedicated to advancing real-world applications of AI in healthcare. He serves as a collaborating scientist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He is also an award-winning astrophotographer, with images exhibited internationally, blending scientific precision with artistic exploration.
Steven earned his MD from Temple University School of Medicine, trained in Internal Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh, completed a fellowship in Cardiology at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, and pursued a fellowship in Medical Informatics at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, the American College of Medical Informatics, and the American Medical Informatics Association.
JD, PhD
Dr Rozenblit is the Executive Director of the Q.E.D. Institute, a Lecturer in the Practice of Management at the Yale School of Management, and a Collaborating Scientist at the Harvard Medical School/BIDMC Division of Clinical Informatics. Leon has been involved in planning, designing, building, and maintaining systems that curate high-quality health and research data for over 20 years. In 2006, Leon founded Prometheus Research, LLC, growing the company as its CEO to a niche market leader, cumulatively supporting over $200M in privately and publicly funded research, and culminating in a 2020 acquisition by IQVIA, Inc. At IQVIA, serving as a Senior Director of Product and Strategy, Leon oversaw a successful post-acquisition integration of the Prometheus business into the $14B enterprise, established and led a Registry Practice Center of Excellence, and led advisory engagements for not-for-profit clients to develop research-oriented data strategies. At the broadest level, Leon conceptualizes his work as improving knowledge-production practices and systems and his most recent focus has been AI governance models for healthcare (with a focus on consumer health) and clinical research. Leon holds a JD from LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center and a Ph.D. in Psychology from Yale University, where he also taught graduate and undergraduate statistics.
